Toby Molitor’s works are about everyday products and traces of usage, which are often perceived in the subconscious. The focus is based on the materialism and shape of the products as well as haptics which occur by appliance. The works are based on digital photography and screen printing.

ARTIST'S NOTE:

Tate Modern was a place I spend a lot of times during my studies at Central St. Martins, London. The print refers to the art and culture brand TATE founded in 1897 as the National Gallery of British Art. Tate as we know it now, was established in 2000 as a network of four museums. The core of the logo has been designed by Wolff Olins who wanted to create an identity which makes the viewer to "look again, think again - as art in general constantly challenges yourself to see the world in a different way.
