ARTIST'S NOTE:

“The work refers to the iconic duty free shops and bags which are visible in almost all airports around the world. The first duty free shop was launched in Ireland by the business man Brendan O'Regan. He invented the concept in 1947, offering tax reduced goods in airport outlets. Since then the idea has extended globally and plays a major role in the travelers experience at airports.” Tobias Molitor

Molitor’s works are about everyday products and traces of usage, which are often perceived in the subconscious. The focus is based on the materialism and shape of the products as well as haptics which occur by appliance. The works are based on digital photography and screen printing.
